Residence for Tom and Joanne Cartwright  Designed: Steve OndreBuilt: Voila’ Construction 1980 Vesuvius, British Columbia We blasted 300 cu.yds. rock out of the sandstone bluff to build a full basement for this waterfront house. Large decks wrap around the house, tying it into the surrounding trees. Facing south it takes in the full sun as well as the views down through Sansum Narrows. A rock path leads down to the warmest seawater in Canada.   |
